I hate Alek. He keeps forcing his feelings on Chloe, who is VERY UPFRONT she doesn't see him that way, and is SO ANGRY when she reminds him of it. She literally can't be vulnerable with him at all lest he misinterpret it and blame her for it.
Chloe's mom >>>>>> Buffy's mom
Paul >>>>>>> Xander
Alek is SUCH A DOUCHE NOZZLE. I hate men who feel entitled to women, think there's nothing wrong with taking choices away from them, and think women should be grateful.
I love Chloe. Never kill off Chloe's mom, Show, never.
shut the fuck up officer dick, you show him who's boss Mrs. Chloe
Ugh no no no Jasmine do not tell Chloe she needs to put up with Alek's bull shit. That girl has enough on her plate. Unless it's setting up for Chloe to have an extreme martyrdom complex where she eventually cracks and runs away, which I could totally get behind (MORE BUFFY SHOUT OUTS!)
Amy I love you.
ALEK: May I point out who you reached out to in a time of crisis?
Oh fuck you dude. Chloe knew everyone else was at Walnut Street. And Cat Hat doesn't know her secret. And those dudes had guns. Chloe is not an idiot.
I think I could come to ship this if Alek stopped being a douchenozzle. Him agreeing to be friends is the first step.
I actually love how Chloe is the one pushing her mom to move on, and her mom is resistant to the new information.
I also love how the mom and Chloe are BOTH keeping secrets. Chloe her heritage, and the mom that she is initiating communication with her notdead!husband.
I OFFICIALLY LOVE CATHAT MORE. I was initially skeeved out by Cat Hat seeing a high schooler, but as of this episode I can see how isolated he feels, and why feels he can't open up to others his own age. He sort of fell into knowing Chloe, and with his suffocating relationship with his skeevy father, and his mommy and daddy issues, and how nice and genuine Chloe is, he feels he doesn't need anyone else.
He also seems to both forget but remind himself of her age. When Chloe calls him on it, he comes back later and confirms that she is allowed to have reasons and he respect that. He even admits he IS seeing someone else, and he tells her it is OKAY for her to be with someone else, and he BELIEVES her that it's complicated. I love the actor being he puts in this subtext that again, he sees how young she is and, from his perspective, how she doesn't have the skeevy drama of his family. From Chloe's perspective, Cat Hat treats her like the adult she feels she is, but at the same time he never pushes her for something she isn't ready for.
Alek does none of that. and by the end of this episode I wasn't feeling sorry him, again, when I saw the :| look on his face seeing Chloe and Cat Hat talking. HE STILL FEELS ENTITLED TO HER and that's such bullshit I can't even.
ALEK = FOREVER ALONE
