I work as a sign language interpreter at a local community college and normally have work during December... but they don't have work to give me this year for December :( And my availability only goes through January 3rd and most places don't want someone for just 3 weeks :-/
Hahaha! Nora Roberts is pretty much the only author that I read consistently because her stuff is SO predictable and just... mindless. xD I may have to look into that book, though, thanks!!

I may just end up selling a bunch of my stuff so I can make ends meet. Two birds, one stone! :D And LOL Waffle House; I live right down the street from one of those.
